David's passion for nature photography was sparked by a trip to Glacier National Park in the summer of 2000.  As a backpacker and member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, he spends his spare time exploring the outdoors and has discovered that seeing nature through the lens of a camera has heightened his awareness and appreciation of the natural world.

He shares some of his favorite images on this web site hoping you will find enjoyment in viewing them and that they may inspire you to open your heart and mind to the wonders that nature has to offer.  With the increasing demands of a growing population and the growing risks of climate change, each of us must play a role in protecting the wild areas that remain so a balance in nature can be preserved.  You can learn more by visiting any one of the conservation organizations listed on our Links Page.
